Welcome to Professional Decorative Artisans

The PDA is central Florida's chapter of the International Decorative Artisans League. Most of our meetings (unless otherwise noted) are held the last Saturday of every month. Our meetings usually consist of a short business meeting and then a class, product demonstration or play with paint sample making. Since most of our members are from the Orlando and surrounding areas, the meetings are usually held in Orlando. The cost of our demos and classes has a broad range depending on the instructor and materals needed.
We welcome visitors and encourage you to join the PDA and IDAL...members get a special discount rate on all classes and demostrations.

The History of IDAL

The Stencil Artisans League, Inc. (SALI)
was renamed at the 23rd annual convention in July of 2008.
SALI became IDAL
International Decorative Artisans League formally SALI was formed
in Atlanta, Georgia on November 18, 1983 and officially incorporated the following January. SALI held it's first convention in 1986. Since then, membership has grown from 200 to over 3500 and in kind, so has IDAL Conventions, where members come together for five days of sharing, teaching, learning and networking...  More on the History of IDAL
